Sever was an alternative title pitch that we explored in parallel with a main title sequence that Refuge was hired to execute. While the producers ultimately chose a different name, the film is a psychological thriller that delves into the mind of a serial killer whose gruesome crimes center around the dissection of his victims' bodies, in his own twisted attempt to root out vice within the cities.
